and thar yoo go!
cheers.
I saw an imax film called Serengeti in Philadelphia a couple months ago. It credit HZ with the music and sounds alot like Millenium. Does anyone know if this soundtrack is available ?
Thanks for all the replies but I received Radio Flyer so please stop mailing me!
Thanks anyway
Paul Bontenbal
The Fruit Machine was available on the New Music in Films CD at Milan Rec. - Ref CD CH 530 in Europe.
You got 20'08 minutes of The Fruit Machine along with Burning Secret (23'59) and Diamond Skulls (4'22).
This is a very hard one to find (isn't it Chris ?).
BUT, Chris wrote once that new releases of "old" Milan CDs was planned.
Maybe he can tell you more about this. (I'm sure he will).
Bye
hi,
Was the Fruit Machine/Wonderland ever released? I have
trying to find it but have had no luck so far. Does
anyone have it, or know if it is still available to be
purchased. I'd appreciate any information regarding this
soundtrack since I've wanted it since I saw the film back
in 1989.
Thanks, Ken
Hi,
I have been looking for the soundtrack to the Fruit Machine/
Wonderland for years to no avail. First, I'd like to know if
it was ever released to purchase, and if so, if I still can
purchase it.
Thanks,
Ken Eckstein
Perhaps can someone help me with this
I¥ve checked in Microsoft-Cinemania the Hans Zimmer entry several weeks ago.
In his biography is a link to Neverending Story II.
I¥ve got that Soundtrack, it was composed by Robert Folk.
I¥ve checked the inlay, but there¥s no word that Zimmer worked on the score.
Can someone tell me the connection between Zimmer and Neverending Story II ?
Or is it an error in Microsoft Cinemania ?
smiles,
just letting you know, that I have started a page for
James Newton Howard - Howinfo.
excited about Collaboration, but sign! ya darned noodles, if you want it cheap! and more of it!
Zoodles!
Little Mistake !
I mean MANCINA¥s Bad Boys Theme is great !!!!!!!
I was able to find a copy of the Hans Zimmer/Mark Mancina
Collaboration .
It is a great collection !
I want to mention that Zimmers Bad Boys Theme is great
( longer as on the Soundtrack ) and the 2nd Fair Game-
Track sounds a bit like Twister in my opinion !
From The Lion King are instrumental versions of ÑCan you
feel the love tonightì and ÑCircle of lifeì and the ÑHyenasì
Track (which is also available on the German and the French
Version of the Lion-King Soundtrack. ) included.
As explained earlier on this board : Don¥t expect too much
about the Days of Thunder-track. It starts in the middle of
the main title and continues with the Car Building Theme.
I¥m a bit disappoited about this track !
Let¥s hope the Days of Thunder petition of Chris has
success !
Hewwo,
just letting the mateys know that:
The Fan is now available in Australia
from TVT via Take One records.
It retails for Aus$27.95 (at Myer)
has only 11 tracks, unlike the 12 on US pressing.
and thar yoo go!
yumsasleepynow....zzzz..i...mm......eee....r....zzzz...oo.d.l.e.s
Buy it! Drop Zone was the first Hans ST I bought and I lerved it!
The Rock seems to have richer orchestrations but Drop Zone still rates high on my scale!
Pity the film was such a flop - I liked it though ;-)
Andrew
Drop Zone is my favorite along with the two tracks from Rain Man.
There's one track titled "Too many notes and not enough rests."
That should tell you something. I love it. The Rock is very good,
where Drop Zone, Play it loud! Buy it.
Also have:
Crimson Tide
Drop Zone
Lion King
Rennassaince Man
Rain Man
Broken Arrow
Beyond Rangoon
Hi there everybody. I am thinking of getting the ST to Drop Zone.
Has anybody out there got it? Do you think it is a worthy buy ?
How is it compared to the Rock ? (The Rock had so much strength in the music.)
Hewwo azain,
on a hot crazy summer day...let me ask yous a favour!
What do you think would make a great score (background) track for a proposal of marriage, that will occur during an evening?
your ideas will be greatly pondered...smiles.
thenk U!
um, I tried a mass mailout to make you aware of the petition I am organizing for the releases of normal priced media ventures productions on CD. vewwy slow response - email didn't work?
anyone care to enlighten me on the supposed bcc email procedure?
smiles.
zoodles, ya petition-dawdling noodles!
Mancina's full score to Bad Boys never got released, at least not until today! There is this rap/soul soundtrack available on Work, with a great four-minute Mancina theme on it, but that's also it. The film featured a lot of great music that would make fo
r a stunning score album, (for instance the beautiful acoustic guitar-bits after the black girl get killed and a terrific Mike Olfield-sounding theme with shots of the big city-skyline) and Mancina himself actually got guaranteed a score release, but it n
ever happened. There are some rumours that a bootleg version of the score will be released later this year, together with Fair Game.
So there!
What do you mean? Is there a Hans Zimmer compilation CD out on Silva Screen??? If so, does it include original score material or just plain lousy cover versions from this Ayres guy? Please let us know if anyone has more info!
Does anyone in the entire world know if there is a BAD BOYS SCORE. If so then when will it be released or where can I get it. Just knowing I don't have the score to it is just as painfull as not having the PREDATOR score. Any information would be extre
mely generous!!!!!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
WAYNE BRESSETTE
Unfortunately the Rock will not be released Down Under, so start
making friends OS!!! ;-(
It's out on Hollywood Records.
Bummer, eh!?!
APC
hi !

I have only just become a great admirer of Zimmer's work vastly due to the scores of The Rock and Crimson Tide. I live in Australia and would greatly appreciate any information on when it will be released over here, has it been released in America?
I AM THE BIGGEST FAN OF HANS AND I'M VERY INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THE MUSIC TO THE FAN. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE IS A SCORE EDITION OR IF THE SOUNDTRACK WITH THE OTHER SONGS IS ALL THERE IS? HANS IS "DA BOMB"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
looking for track listings on HANS ZIMMER FILM MUSIC CD (SILVASCREEN)
I would love to acquire the two copies of "Black Rain" if
they are on CD. It would make my month!!!
Please reply regarding preffered method of payment.
Sup, fellow Zimmer heads! Alright, I'm sure our man Yumbo
has already mentioned it, but he's getting a petition together to
get someone oout there (a generous producer perhaps) to
produce and release Days of Thunder, Bird on a Wire, etc.
So lets join him (our man Yumbo) on his (once again, our man
Yumbo) quest to do this. Contact his home page and enter
it on his Zoard (you'll know once you get there)
Anyway get movin!
Also, I have some info on Regarding Henry, Radio Flyer,
Willow, and others, so contact me at my address soon!!!!
If you listen really closely to "Noyona" (track 11) on RotPL, some one says "Hey, that's nice" 4:49 into the song. Umm, I don't know why I post this.
It's a song all about me. :) That's all there is too it...
I found a place that sells CutThroat Island - FINALLY. Unfortunately, they are out of stock, but have a reorder on it. They are called Footlight Records and they even have an internet site. They even have hard to find recordings. I found the soundtrack
to EXCALIBUR from there which I had been looking for what seems like forever. Because of its rarity, EXCALIBUR'S cost was $45. I believe they just sold out, plus it is out of print.
You can find Footlight Records by doing a search. TONS of movie scores.
Joe
I just purchased Hans Zimmer's Backdraft scores (on sale at most stores from 9.99 - 13.99 US). WOW! This has quickly become one of my favorite CDs. I wasn't expecting much until I heard it! Excellent music, as always. I was particularly impressed with
the stregth of score #7 ("You Go, We Go").
Joe
ok folks!!!
have had good response recently - a fwend of Hans visited Zinfo, and was impressed.
Events - I am going to start a trailer music list on Zinfo, if I leave out anything due to 'tubing', remind me!
BTW, I forgot to include SPEED (Mark Mancina) as one of the scores used for the ID4 trailer!
OKAY!!!!!!
Listen up! Even though some of us have bootlegs, I feel it is high time for a petition to be initiated for the release of Zimmer's other works!!!!
It is for your benefit, and there is NOTHING to lose!
Here it is:
ALL those who woul dlik eto see the FULL release of DAYS OF THUNDER; BIRD ON A WIRE; and any other fuller scores,
PLEASE send me an email of your support, with your name, interest, number in your Zimmer collection, and contact! You can also just sign the Zinfo/yumbo guestbook, and I will copy and compile the list.
I will then personally take it to Hans on New Year's! SO get cracking!!
ya flaming noodles!!!!!
start at Zinfo.
zoodles.........you want it, come and get it!
Would really like to purchase/trade with someone for this s/t; have others by Zimmer and would be willing to trade. Thanks
