3. New arrivals

(BOOK NOW) Bonneville - Hitch a ride with three of Hollywood's most acclaimed actresses in this rollicking road movie that's "full of warmth, tears and humorous zingers" (The New York Observer). Starring Academy Award Winners Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates and Academy Award Nominee Joan Allen, Bonneville is a charming gem of a film that celebrates fun, friendship and the detours of life that makes us who we are. Recently widowed Arvilla (Lange) is at a crossroads. Her stepdaughter Francine (Christine Baranski) has threatened to sell Arvilla's Idaho home unless Arvilla brings her late husband's ashes to California, where they'll be interred for eternity beside his first wife. Arvilla's friends Margene (Bates) and Carol (Allen) convince Arvilla to deliver the ashes. But when Arvilla convinces them to go with her in her husband's '66 Bonneville, the stage is set for an unforgettable journey filled with hitchhikers, truckers, breathtaking vistas, Vegas jackpots and a powerful final showdown.

(BOOK NOW) Burn Notice: Season 1 - Covert intelligence operative Michael Westen has been punched, kicked, choked and shot. Now he's being burned, and someone's going to pay! When Michael receives a "burn notice", blacklisting him from the intelligence community and compromising his very identity, he must track down a faceless nemesis without getting himself killed in the process. Meanwhile, Michael is forced to double as a private investigator on the dangerous streets of Miami in order to survive. Fully loaded with sly humor, Burn Notice is a fresh spin on the spy genre with plenty of precarious twists to keep you guessing and enough explosive action to keep you riveted!

(BOOK NOW) Castle Keep - Burt Lancaster, Peter Falk and Bruce Dern star in CASTLE KEEP, an extraordinary melding of war drama, satiric comedy and heroic action adventure from (the late) acclaimed director Sydney Pollack (The Firm). Near the end of World War II, American Major Falconer (Lancaster, Academy Award®-winner Best Actor Elmer Gantry, 1960) leads his weary eight-man squadron to a perfectly preserved medieval castle in the Adrennes Forest. CASTLE KEEP's owner, the aging Count of Maldorais (Jean-Pierre Aumont), shelters the servicemen in hopes they will defend his fortress and his priceless collection of art masterpieces from the advancing German troops. But the servicemen have plans of their own. Major Falconer begins an illicit affair with the Count's beautiful young wife, while Sgt. Rossi (Falk) romances the wife of an absent baker. As the German soldiers push forward, a deadly game of possession ensues, leading to a spectacular ground battle for keeper of the castle. Shaded with off-beat comic moments - a soldier (In Cold Blood's Scott Wilson) falls in love with a battered Volkswagen and a religious fanatic (Bruce Dern) leads his shell-shocked troops through the bombed-out streets - CASTLE KEEP features a top-notch cast hailed as "excellent" by Vincent Canby, The New York Times.

(BOOK NOW) Celine Dion: Live in Las Vegas - A New Day (BRD) - For Blu-Ray Players. An unprecedented 5 year run! More than 700 sold-out shows! 3 million spectators! Everything about the record-breaking show that changed the history of the entertainment scene in Las Vegas! 2 discs, including Celine Dion's show in the colosseum at Caesars Palace and three exclusive documentaries. Travel to Las Vegas with the fans, join Celine at home, in her car, in her dressing room, and even backstage, find out all the secrets of A New Day. More than 5 hours of never-before-seen footage.

(BOOK NOW) Chalk - In the 'doc' comedy style of The Office and Best in Show, Chalk pulls you into the frenetic and awkwardly painful journey of three novice teachers as they navigate one memorable school year. Director Mike Akal provides a rare and realistic teacher's perspective into the absurd, provocative and occasionally volatile world of public education. In a country where 50% of teachers quit within the first year, Chalk delivers an enormous dose of heart, hilarity, and hope for America's most important institution.

(BOOK NOW) The Closer: Season 3 - The biggest cases demand the best cops. So when a little girl goes missing, or a Homeland Security official takes a long drive off a short cliff, or a ‘90s serial killer revives his career in the 21st century, the LAPD knows to call Brenda Johnson and her crack team from the Priority Homicide Division. The Closer returns for another incendiary season, and again holding the match is Krya Sedgwick who has created one of TV’s unforgettable characters. Sedgwick “struck gold with the role of crafty, disorganized, snack-obsessed LAPD interrogator Brsnda Johnson in (this) funny-dark, character-rich procedural” (Lynn Smith, Los Angeles Times). Go on the case with the whodunit series that shows how it’s done.

(BOOK NOW) Definitely, Maybe - From the makers of Notting Hill and Love Actually comes the charming and irresistibly funny romantic comedy Definitely Maybe. When Will (Ryan Reynolds) decides to tell his daughter (Abigail Breslin) the story of how he met her mother he discovers that a second look at the past might also give him a second chance at the future. Co-starring Elizabeth Banks Rachel Weisz and Isla Fisher it's the heartwarming story that makes you realize it's definitely never too late to go back and maybe find a happy ending.

(BOOK NOW) Hamburger Hill - Vietnam, 1969. Hill 937. 10 days. 70% casualties. Those are the facts--this is the story. The men of Bravo Company are facing a battle that's all up hill...up Hamburger Hill. Fourteen war-weary soldiers are battling for a mud-covered mound of earth so named because it chews up soldiers like chopped meat. They are fighting for their country, their fellow soldiers and their lives. War is hell, but this is worse. Hamburger Hill tells it the way it was, the it really was. It's a raw, gritty and totally unrelenting dramatic depiction of one of the fiercest battles in America's bloodiest war. Dodge the gunfire. Get caught behind enemy lines. Go into battle beside the brave young men who fought and died. Feel their desperation and futility. This happened. Hamburger Hill--war at its worst, men at their best.

(BOOK NOW) In The Shadow Of The Moon - In The Shadow Of The Moon is an intimate epic, which vividly communicates the daring and the danger, the pride and the passion, of this extraordinary era in American history. Between 1968 and 1972, the world watched in awe each time an American spacecraft voyaged to the Moon. Only 12 American men walked upon its surface and they remain the only human beings to have stood on another world. Now for the first time, and very possibly the last, In The Shadow Of The Moon combines archival material from the original NASA film footage, much of it never before seen, with interviews with the surviving astronauts who emerge as eloquent, witty, emotional and very human.

(BOOK NOW) The Island on Bird Street - In times of war, courage is necessary for survival. Alex, an 11-year-old Jewish boy living in a World War II Polish ghetto with his father and great uncle, knows this too well. When Nazis come to his city and clear the town, Alex manages to escape with the help of his family, but is left with only his pet mouse "Snow". Finding refuge in an abandoned building on Bird Street, Alex seeks inspiration from his favorite book, Robinson Crusoe, while he, and Snow, await his father's return. Based on a true story by the winner of the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Writing.

(BOOK NOW) Lady Chatterley's Lover - Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuelle) is "beautiful" (The New York Times) as the lonely young wife of a wealthy aristocrat in this scintillating tale of love, lust and forbidden fantasies. Adapted from D.H. Lawrence's famously erotic novel, this "truly sumptuous production" captures the "splendor of the English countryside" (The Hollywood Reporter) and the torturous conflict between duty-and desire. Paralyzed from the waist down due to a war injury, Sir Clifford Chatterley (Shane Briant) urges his wife, Constance (Kristel), to take a lover to satisfy her physical needs. But when she begins an intense affair with a man of shockingly lower class - the virile and rugged gamekeeper Mellors (Nicholas Clay) - the unexpected stirring of passions will rock not only the Chatterleys' marriage, but all of society as well.

(BOOK NOW) Mama's Boy - Twenty-nine-year-old Jeffrey Mannus is a stay-at-home guy. Not his home. His mom's. But that doesn't mean he's living la vida cushy. What about the time his ant farm broke? Or the day he lost his hat? And now his biggest challenge just walked in the door: Mert Rosenbloom, mom's new beau and Jeffrey's new rival for her 24/7 attention. Mert's gotta go. And no plot is too devious or immature to make Mert history. Comic actors extraordinaire Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory), Diane Keaton (Something's Gotta Give) and Jeff Daniels (Dumb and Dumber) headline this good-time salute to not growing up. Make yourself at home. And ask Mom to make some popcorn.

(BOOK NOW) Meet the Browns - With nothing to lose, Brenda and her son travel from Chicago to small-town Georgia to meet a previously unknown side of the family. Nothing can prepare them for the fun-loving, crass Brown clan. Angela Basset and Rick Fox star in this romantic comedy about the power of love and family - from Tyler Perry.

(BOOK NOW) Mad Men: Season 1 (BRD) - For Blu-Ray Players.
(BOOK NOW) Mad Men: Season 1 - In the glamorous and ego-driven world of advertising, everyone is selling something and nothing is ever what it seems. Set in 1960 New York City, Mad Men reveals the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women of Madison Avenue’s “Golden Age,” where key players make an art of the sell while their private world gets sold. And no one plays the game better than Don Draper (Golden Globe - winner Jon Hamm), biggest ad man - and ladies man - in the business.

(BOOK NOW) The Piano - One of the most critically acclaimed and highly awarded films of the year, The Piano arouses erotic passions and vengeful jealousies when Ada, a young mute woman (Holly Hunter), is desired by two men - her husband by an arranged marriage (Sam Neill) and the husband's darkly intense neighbor (Harvey Keitel). Violent emotions erupt, but only one man understands that Ada's heart can only be won through her beloved piano.

(BOOK NOW) Presumed Guilty - Based on a true story. Due to a clerical mix-up (his police file has been confused with another McLaughlin) Bobby McLaughlin (Brendan Frasier) is wrongfully accused of a murder he didn't commit. Despite his pleas of innocence, not even his father (Martin Sheen) believes him. With a minor crime already on his record, and an incompetent defense attorney, Bobby is convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison. But a suppressed lie detector test that could have freed him convinces his father that Bobby is indeed innocent. Now he begins a fierce struggle to free his son from prison. Presumed Guilty is a chilling indictment of a faulty judicial system and an inspirational tale of love and reconciliation between father and son.

(BOOK NOW) Persepolis (BRD) - For Blu-Ray Players. Writer and director Marjane Satrapi draws a poignant story about a young girl in Iran during the Islamic Revolution, when people's hopes were dashed as fundamentalists took power.

(BOOK NOW) Rails & Ties - Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden give soaring performances in Rails & Ties director Alison Eastwood?s moving tale of people in crisis and emotions at the brink. Bacon plays Tom Stark a train engineer unable to face his wife?s (Harden) illness. Then a terrifying railway collision leaves a little boy orphaned. Tom takes the boy into his home and ? step by step strength by strength ? learns how to bond with the wife he adores by opening his heart to a boy who needs the security of a devoted family.

(BOOK NOW) Straight from the Heart - Teri Polo (Meet the Parents) and Andrew McCarthy (Mannequin) star as New York photographer Jordan Donovan and Wyoming cattleman Tyler Ross an unlikely pair apparently mismatched through a singles ad. She s stuck in a dead-end relationship with Edward Morgan (Greg Evigan) who s afraid to commit and he s being hounded by his engaged sister Laurie Woods (Patricia Kalember) to find somebody and settle down. When Jordan s friend Carla Dimaggio (Christine Tucci) answers the Country Connections ad on her behalf she flies out to Wyoming to meet Tyler and at first the only thing they seem to have in common is dislike. But after learning about the first wife who died in childbirth Jordan begins to see Tyler in a different light.

(BOOK NOW) Wedding Bell Blues - When Jasmine, Tanya and Micki decide they'd rather be divorced than unmarried, they take off to Las Vegas in search of the perfect ex. In the tangled web that follows, Micki lassos a cowboy, Tanya acquires a rich businessman, and Jasmine finds true love in the arms of a regular guy. The result is an outrageous comedy of love, marriage and misadventure. As intelligent as it is absurd, Wedding Bell Blues pokes great fun at the twists and turns of modern love, with outstanding performances from a talented young cast, including Illeana Douglas, Paulina Porizkova and Julie Warner, it is without a doubt one of the year's most hilarious movies.

(BOOK NOW) Will & Grace: Season 7 - The complete Seventh Season of Will & Grace on DVD, including all new featurettes and a Season 7 Outtake Reel.
